ENROLLMENT

You may apply in person during your tour. There is $100 registration fee, $50 application fee, and a $15.00 Registration fee to the State of Michigan. [all applications fees are non-refundable.]

•  Provide official proof of High School Diploma or Transcripts or GED Certification (GED Transcripts Only), 
•  Complete a Hair It Iz, The Beauty School Admission Application with a $50.00 Application Fee made payable to Hair It Iz, The Beauty School (non-refundable) 
•  Be at least 17 years old. 
•  A valid Social Security Card 
•  A valid government issued photo identification card or driver’s license 
•  Visit and tour the school 
•  All transfer applicants must provide verification of attendance to another cosmetology school.
•   All applicants must attend Orientation 
•  All application must pay a $100.00 Registration Fee (non-refundable) 
•  All application must pay a$15.00 Permit fee for Statement of Michigan 
•  All applicants must sign an enrollment agreement.

                                               Instructor requirements

• instructor applicants must meet the above requirements and hold a current license as a practitioner in the field they wish to teach 

The school is open full time from Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm. Saturdays are reserved for advance training only. While our part time schedule is 9:30am to 1:30pm, 1p- 4pm and 6pm to 10pm Monday through Friday. 

• Complete the number of program hours required.
• Maintain an SAP  (Satisfactory academic progress) of 75% on all exams, attendance, and complete school requirements. 
• Complete all program Minimum Practical Applications required by the State of Michigan, and finals.

Uniforms are royal blue/ sapphire blue. scrubs only.

Your shoes must be all black enclosed toe only! You are also required to have your appearance up to par as well.
